The sneaker was a celebration of the player exclusive Air Jordan 10 ‘Chicago’ that Michael Jordan wore when he returned to the NBA in 1995. The ‘Double Nickel’ refers to the 55 points MJ scored against the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden. This 2015 version of the Air Jordan 10 is a more faithful reproduction of the original 1995 colorway than the 2012 ‘Chicago’ release. It features the same shape, materials, and detailing as the OG sneaker.
