The Vacumaid CS1660 Commercial Series Power Unit is constructed of durable rolled galvannealed steel that’s been powder-coated for the ultimate corrosion resistance. These commercial central vacuums have a long life of over 3,000 hours of use and are best suited for daily use - optimally, between one to two hours throughout the day.

The VacuMaid CS1660 Commercial Series Power Unit is an amazingly cost-effective alternative to regenerative pump systems, where residential systems aren’t enough. It’s great for multiple applications, including use for hair salons, barber shops, dust control, pet groomers, veterinarians, dental offices, and woodshops.

This machine was built for light commercial applications where high usage is needed, and the Ametek Lamb 6.6-inch tangential bypass motor ensures that any job is powerfully taken care of. The AirChannel Technology allows you to fill the canister with a liner for mess-free disposal of debris.

The convenient split-canister design allows you to hang the dirt canister in an easily-accessible location while keeping the motor away from the living environment. Empty the canister in a cinch without taking up too much space in your commercial offices.

The innovative cyclonic filtration system provides 100% sustained cleaning power, all without dealing with messy filters that you’d normally encounter with a vacuum. With a large capacity of 27 quarts and a low sound level rating of just 61 decibels, this is everything you want in a commercial central vacuum unit!

Initially, you should check or empty your dirt canister weekly, until you have an idea of how long it should take to fill it halfway according to your normal cleaning routine. All systems function more efficiently when the dirt canister is emptied regularly, and under no circumstances should you ever allow your dirt canister to become more than ¾ full.

Note: canisters fill even more quickly if new carpets are being cleaned, due to the abundance of loose fibers retained in the carpet from the manufacturing process. In some instances it may take several months to vacuum up all of the fibers.
