Preparation was the only thing that helped to calm the nervousness before the hólmgang. The regulated duel of honor between two warriors which more and more replaced the one-wic - the fight to the death without rules. Usually only fought until the first blood or the opponent\'s downfall, served as a means of settling disputes in the early medieval Germanic and Nordic society.

Ideally suited for such a fight on foot was clothing that allowed the best possible freedom of leg movement.

Our Tunic Ekwin, which fittingly means sword friend, therefore has slits on the sides and gives the wearer that powerful and intimidating elegance with which one avoids most confrontations from the outset.

The natural fabric used, made of pure cotton, is also extremely comfortable to wear and the slits further contribute to the greatest possible freedom of movement.
