The PR10.0-V Heavy Duty Flush Mount Smoke Eater is designed to fit perfectly and discreetly into your drop or suspended ceiling. By replacing one 2\' x 4\' ceiling tile or two 2\' x 2\' ceiling tiles, our flush-mount cigarette smoke odor removal system will combat the strongest of smells. At least 13-inches of clearance above the drop ceiling is required for installation. The weight of the system does not rest on the ceiling tiles or grids but is secured above the suspended ceiling onto a permanent structure such as a joist or beam. All filters on the PR10.0V cigarette smoke eater commercial air cleaner are accessible from the front of the unit. 1 PR10.0-V Heavy Duty Flush Mount High Efficiency & Carbon Smoke Eater recommended for approximately every 4000 cubic feet.

How does the PR10.0-V Heavy Duty Flush Mount High Efficiency & Carbon Smoke Eater work?...

In addition to providing a 95% High Efficiency filter media, The PR10.0-V Commercial Cigarette Smoke Eater utilizes 18 pounds of activated carbon in a V-Bank housing. Since High Efficiency filters alone cannot remove gases, odors, or particles smaller than .3 microns, activated carbon is a necessary requirement for truly clean air. Activated carbon will adsorb \'some of almost any gas & odor\'. It has a large capacity for organic molecules, especially solvents. Activated carbon is also capable of adsorbing and retaining a wide variety of odors and chemicals - including cigar smoke smells and cigarette smoke odors - and works extremely well under a wide range of temperature and humidity conditions.

Stage 1 - Pre-FilterThe pre-filter is important because not only does it remove the larger particles, it also helps prolong the life of the High Efficiency filter in the system. Essentially, the pre-filter is the first line of defense in maintaining your system; therefore promoting better indoor air quality. Twelve (12) Polyester pre-filters are supplied with each system. Pre-filters cannot be washed and must be changed monthly.

Stage 2 - 18 Pound Carbon V-BankCarbon is KING when it comes to smoke odors, gas, and chemical removal. The 18 pound Carbon V-Bank Filter in the PR10.0-V is an excellent choice when the need to control tobacco smells is required - including cigar & cigarette odors, and marijuana odors. Activated Carbon removes odors by absorbing gases & VOCs into the porous carbon granules. Think of carbon as an odor sponge. It can hold many times its weight in odor molecules. However, once carbon becomes saturated it loses its efficiency. Thus, proper maintenance of the carbon filter is required to keep your environment fresh & clean smelling.One (1) 18 Pound Carbon V-Bank is included with each unit. The Carbon V-Bank Filter cannot be washed and should be changed annually.

Stage 3 - High Efficiency FilterThe High Efficiency filter removes very small particles, such as smoke from tobacco (including hookah, cigarette, cigar & marijuana smoke), burning wood, oil, rosin, dust mites, spores, mold spores, pollen, spray paint, spray paint dust, ashes, cement dust, auto emissions, textile fibers, fiberglass, hairspray, insecticide dust, copier toner, and some viruses.One (1) 6-inch High Efficiency Filter is supplied with each PR10.0-V Smoke Eater. For best results, the High Efficiency filter cannot be washed and should be changed annually.

OPTIONAL - Remote ControlEasily control the settings on your PR10.0-V Smoke Eater with a handy Remote Control Key Fob. If your Smoke Eater is installed in an awkward area or is too high to reach, the remote control is an excellent choice. Each receiver is factory installed and comes with 2 battery-operated remote control key fobs. (Multiple air cleaners require a separate receiver/transmitter for each unit.)The receiver/transmitter range is approximately 10 feet under normal operating conditions.

Additional Specifications
