The Sno-Stripes Story

Perfect balls shape this snowman’s head, bottom and middle. His model proportioned physique is indeed prototypical, but his standard qualities are purely physical. This snowman can not be described as typical. Sal D. Sno-Stripes is prone to the giggles, which he tries to suppress with little success. His titter becomes laughter, then as if he choreographed it, his head and belly start to jiggle, forming a jelly like wiggle, then he belly flops down, tips over and rolls round, with cheeks aglow his girth grows, til he has a new coat of snow. As he slides to an eventual stop, his hat amazingly never plops. While he adores all things lighthearted and whimsical, Sal D. Sno-Stripes is also a scholar and therefore quizzical. For years he has studied the mysteries of snow history, researching each flake’s wake, drift and fate, he reads of blizzards each night until the hour is late. “Our stormy history will melt away if not set to dates.” Each spring with eyes ever twinkling he lingers, until the last flake has dwindled, waiting for the next season of snow sprinkles.
