HOT ! Garnet Wisteria Viking Knit Woven Silver Bracelet

These woven bracelets are hand-woven in Viking knit style from fine silver with a cast granulated cap, garnet set Wisteria settings and a sterling S clasp. This chain takes many hours to make. The original cap, Wisteria settings, and clasp were made in fine silver, and granulated.

Granulation is an ancient fusing process involving the making of tiny spheres that are applied with a paintbrush and fused with a mouth torch. Then I make a mold, pull wax from the mold, and cast the wax using a lost wax casting process. Each cap, setting and clasp is then finished and polished and soldered onto the pulled hand- Viking knit woven chain and polished a final time. These are comfortable and classic and accented with lively faceted garnets , which are bezel-set with a hammer and punch.
