An exceptional bespoke Chinoiserie decorated round dining table designed by L. Rossi, San Fransisco, CA. Known as the \"evolution\" table distinguished by its segmented \"pie-slice\" top in a refined lacquer finish with warm sepia chinoiserie floral decorations below the lacquered surface. The top is engineered to present as a clean, minimal round surface in its closed configuration and expands to an dramatic and immense starburst patterned top when additional segments are installed. The top surface and apron are finished in a dramatic dark lacquer with warm sepia-toned floral vignettes, giving a shadowed and subtle chinoiserie element in the Asian aesthetic. The lacquer finish is intentionally distressed to mimic age as seen in photos. The table is anchored by a bold architectural base with four splayed supports joined by a X-form stretcher offering strong stability and a massive visual presence. The table could function equally well as a dining table, a center table, an elevated games or conference table. L. Rossi signature stamp underneath. MSRP was purported to be $31,000.
