The top is painted in a rather faux leather finish with a central stylized flower design and gold leaf and flower vines in the black border around the outer edge. Similar style coffee tables have been attributed to Dennis and Leen; or Maitland Smith however, this one has no marking or tag. They have also been called chinoiserie and Hollywood Regency and French in style. You be the judge.
