HOT ! AFM Japan Midcentury Woven Rope Rocking Chair

We love the look of this previously loved and cherished AFM Japanese Wood frame rocking chair with woven rope detailing. The seat and back were both hand woven with rope and secured well. A small break in the front as been secured with glue and a small tack. 

There is some slight paint splatter on the rope as seen in the photos that doesn\'t take away from the overall look of this incredible piece. The frame is in great structural shape with no side-to-side wobbling. The rockers sit balanced on the floor. You can see where the arms have natrually had someone cozy up and rest their arms on the sides. 

This chair has so much character and was discovered at a nunnery up in Silverton. It was cared for well and clearly loved.
