Prepare for your first breathe. Inhale slowly and deeply through your nose until you feel your body fully extend. Gently exhale through your mouth or nose, keeping your stomach soft. Now repeat, for a second breathe. Focus on your breathing, and try to keep count as a way to clear your mind from distracting thoughts. Repeat this exercise until you have reached 10 good breathes. On your last exhale, congratulate yourself on completing a successful self-care routine.
